Appearance: This little lady stands several feet shorter than the average human at 2’11” and has a light build, weighing approximately 24 kilograms. Amy’s fur color is predominantly pink, with tan appearing on her muzzle, inner ears, and arms. She is always seen wearing her trademark halter top, red dress, trimmed in white, that flares out at the bottom due to the white netting underneath. Accessories to this outfit include white gloves backed by golden ring bracelets, a red headband, and red boots with white stripe accents and metal soles. All of her quills are short and downward pointing around her head, giving the appearance of hair. Extending from her forehead are three thick bangs that curve outward.

Personality: Amy has an all out infatuation with the hero from her world, Sonic. Ever since he saved her on Little Planet, she has been hopelessly in love with him. Because of this, she has been doing whatever it takes to prove that she is worthy of her hero’s affections by trying to show her independence and that she can take care of herself, particularly in combat. Her constant chasing of Sonic and talk whenever the subject shifts to him can make her seem annoying and childish at times.

When she isn’t fawning over the blue hedgehog, Amy is a cheerful, somewhat erratic, and protective of her friends. She always tries to maintain a positive, upbeat outlook on any given situation. However, Amy’s temper can be quick to flare, resulting in her getting very vocal or in extreme cases, whipping out her hammer to silence the opposition.

Abilities/Strengths: Physically, Amy isn’t as strong as her true blue hero, but her skill at wielding her weapon of choice, the Piko Piko Hammer, more than makes up for it. With the aid of this weapon, she can not only smash through her opponents, but use it to propel her through the air to perform acrobatics. Couple this deadly hammer with her agility and she can make a worrisome opponent when angry.

She has divination skills, especially with the aid of tarot cards, which can allow her to make small predictions regarding the future.

Weaknesses: Amy’s main weakness lies in her crush, Sonic. Her love for him often clouds her judgment, making her act rash and whenever it’s mentioned that Sonic might not share the feelings she has for him, she is quick to lash out. If anything were to happen to her love, she would spring into action without so much as a thought, no matter the potential danger. There is also the problem where whenever she thinks her self-proclaimed boyfriend is around, Amy latches onto the nearest hedgehog-shaped creature, assuming it’s Sonic, which has lead to some awkward situations.

If ever without her hammer, Amy might find herself in trouble if placed in a combat situation.

Notable Possessions: Kept close by in case things get rough, the Piko Piko Hammer is a hefty, durable weapon that she uses in combat or to show the boys she means business when angry.

History: Having idolized Sonic for some time, it only made sense that when her tarot cards told her that she would be meeting him at Little Planet, she immediately took off. Unfortunately, shortly after meeting her idol, Amy was captured by Doctor Ivo Robotnik and was taken hostage. She was eventually saved by Sonic, which further cemented her to him. Ever since then, Amy has made an effort to stay as close to him as possible.
Amy’s first real involvement in an adventure started when she was walking through Station Square and ran into a small bird known as a Flicky. The poor bird was being chased down by one of Robotnik’s creations (known as ZERO) and Amy soon began determined to help the Flicky escape from its tormentor. With bird in tow, the hedgehog bolted away, running into none other than Sonic. The trio made their way into the local amusement park, only to be separated as the robot went after Amy and the bird. They were captured and held as prisoners in the Doctor’s airship. When the robot Gamma came to deal with them, Amy was able to use her caring, heartfelt manner to convince him to go against his programming and help them. Now free from the cell, Amy yet again had to evade ZERO to make her escape onto the deck of the Egg Carrier.

There, Amy ran into not only Sonic and Tails, but Dr. Robotnik. Finally, the reason why the Flicky had been wanted was revealed; all along it had been carrying a Chaos Emerald around with it. With the Emerald secured, Eggman left Gamma to deal with the intruders on his ship. Before Sonic could finish off the robot, Amy stopped him, claiming friendship with the mechanical creation. The hero stopped his assault, leaving to go take care of the mad scientist. Amy parted ways with her new friend and left the ship with Tails and the Flicky. The airborne fox dropped the two off in Station Square. It was then that Amy made the decision to become more independent so she wouldn’t need Sonic to always save her and learned that her companion had a family.

Realizing that the Doctor probably had the Flicky’s family captive, she hurried off to his base in the Mystic Ruins. After thoroughly exploring the base and finding no signs of any other birds, Amy made her way to where the Egg Carrier had crashed, in hopes that the missing family would be there. Unfortunately, as the family was just reunited, ZERO makes one final effort to defeat Amy and hurt the birds. Angered by the robot’s attack on her friends, Amy attacks ZERO, incapacitating it.

During this, an ancient god had been regaining power through collecting the Chaos Emeralds. While Amy did not have a hand in its defeat beyond helping Sonic unleash his Super form, she was there to see the final battle take place between Final Chaos and Super Sonic, resulting in a win by her idol.

When she next teamed up with Sonic, she took on more of a supporting role. Amy tagged along with her and her hero’s friend, Tails, to rescue Sonic, who had been wrongfully arrested, landing them on Prison Island. There, they met Robotnik, Rouge, and Shadow (whom she had mistaken for Sonic) who were on a mission to retrieve something on the island. After Tails fought Ivo, the two infiltrated the prison and Amy saved her hero from confinement. As usual with the crew, they set off from here on a journey to stop Robotnik from taking over the world. This landed eventually landed them on the space colony ARK, where Amy and Tails split up from Sonic, each having their own assignment to take care of. The two were intercepted by Robotnik, who used them as bait to lure Sonic. When the blue hedgehog arrived, the Doctor tricked him into a trap, which jettisoned him out into space in an exploding pod.

Amy didn’t need to grieve long, as after Tails yet again took care of Robotnik, Sonic called into the fox’s communicator, signaling that he had somehow survived. Now with one threat to the Earth taken care of, another immediately showed itself, as the colony began its crash course towards the planet. While the others started to prepare a way to stop the impact, Amy found herself alone with the hedgehog she had met earlier, Shadow. After speaking with him, she was able to remind Shadow of his past and convince him to help the others save the planet. The end result was the defeat of the Final Hazard, which had been leading the colony downward, and the supposed death of Shadow. The world was safe again for the time being.

Later, after having not seen Sonic for a while, Amy teamed up with Big the Cat and Cream the Rabbit to form Team Rose and search for him and two others that had gone missing. The three worked together and became close friends as they combated evil robots and followed the clues leading them to Dr. Robotnik’s impressive Egg Fleet. Reunited with those they cared most about, Team Rose and three other teams were faced with the realization that Robotnik had not been behind any of this, but instead his rogue creation, Metal Sonic, was. Team Rose, Dark, and Chaotix jumped into action to play the part of distraction as the robot transformed into a giant monstrosity. This gave Team Sonic, comprised of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, the time to use the Chaos Emeralds to defeat the foe.

At some point in the next couple months, an invasion of the alien race Black Arms happened. They launched an attack on the world’s major cities, their goal being to collect the Chaos Emeralds and rid Earth of its inhabitants. Amy didn’t play a big part in stopping the invasion, but was present to see it unfold and spent her time trying to find her best friend, Cream, to keep the young rabbit safe.

With the aliens defeated, things returned to peace, enough so that Sonic ended up taking a vacation. During that time, Amy had no trouble taking care of herself and had concocted a scheme for when she saw her hero again. In hopes of making him jealous, Amy invented a ‘boyfriend’ by the name of Dexter.

It was some time before she saw the hero again, but once she had aided him in clearing the path through Green Hill Zone, she accompanied him to Central City to visit Tails’ workshop. The trio made their way to GUN headquarters, picking up Rouge the Bat on the way, and learned of the situation with the group called the Marauders stealing the Chaos Emeralds and the possible location of their friend, Knuckles, who had been kidnapped. It was during their search for the echidna that Amy suddenly found herself transported to Prison Island.
